Lockdown

Lhendrup could not sleep well that night. The night was unusual with strange howling of dogs and roasters alarming at wrong time. It was a night before nationwide lockdown was announce. Lhendup got disturbed by unusual night and searched for his phone to overcome  his sleep less night. He put on his mobile data to check his Facebook page and scrolled Newsfeed on his page.

" 1 women at Gyelphu tested positive on PTR outside the qurentine facility....and prime minister will be live at 7 am to brief about nation wide lockdown...." The Bhutanese.

Lhendup could not do anything than to became dumb like a non living object. As soon as the dawn curls up, he informed the news to rest of the family members and it was sad movement for him when he saw his mother filled with tensions.  Aum Cheki , a mother of three was worried of not having enough ration at that movement. However her worries of stocking enough rations was fully furnished when Asha gup in Collaboration with FCB delivered a tons of rice, salt ,oil and others. In fact, it was blissful movement for Aum Cheki  and lhendrup.

Lhendup's brother was stranded at wangdue phodrang (Bajo). He went in search of temporary job so as to cover up his college expenses. Unfortunately it was a big obstacle  for him and lhendrup's mother. Lhendup could do nothing but do video chat each day. "it was expected but at wrong time" lhendup told to Sonam while in video call. Days are passing and nights are dawning, lhendrup could not help his brother home . It was 5th day of lockdown.

Toward the evening of 5th day of lockdown and As we bask under the sun rays rushing inside through open window, lhendup pointed to a big birds circling in the air and  smiled...

Story of Mr. Tandin wangchuk who weaves cloth for living.

Have you seen a man weaving cloth in your community?   Well, In Bhutan, we hardly see a man weaving and I agree that most of you have not seen it. Or may I know your opinion on it?   So, today I am going to share a story of a man who found weaving as the most suitable livelihood asset. As a young boy, he used to worry a lot about his life. He used to think of every alternative that would help him to sustain his life until one day when he realized himself growing interesting in weaving. And he is 38-year-old Tandin wangchuk from Tashigang.   He was 3rd born in his family of eight siblings and he had to sacrifice his school days for younger ones. Therefore as a young boy, he learned weaving with utmost interest. It is amazing to know that he used to support his brothers with the little amount he earned by weaving. Isn’t that awesome? Well, he used to weave all types of Traditional Bhutanese dresses including "Kishuthar",  "dwhor" and "karchang" for sale. H

Blogging and its opportunity to make money. Story of my Adsense partnership approval success.

A Year ago, I started blogging without having much idea about it. I was introduced to blogging by Mr. Nidup Jamtsho, a very good friend of mine and also an enthusiastic blogger (nidupjamtsho.com) and YouTuber ( Mr. Nidup). We talked about  lot of opportunities, an opportunity to earn. Our major conversation used to be about online earning. Bitcoin mining, SFI, Pi mining, YouTubing, and blogging used to be our hot conversation. I would like to confess that I have tried all of them. However, none was successful as I wish but I was never tired of doing it. Frankly, it was difficult for me to hide the feeling of quitting from myself. I used to hide the feeling of quitting and used to involve in money talk with friends to inspire myself. I used to tell my friends, classmate, and family about blogging and the opportunity. I tried blogging from last year and applied three times for AdSense partnership approval. I have to wait for two weeks to get a reply mail from AdSense Company and gett

Journey of talented Nima Wangdi aka chutur15 to Bhutan National Team

As young as 5 years old kid, he was into football and could not pay much attention to his studies. He would find himself in the football ground along with his friends as fast as a school over bell. At a very young age, he was interested in football and would dream to be a National player of our country. And today I would like to share the journey of Mr. Nima Wangdi aka Chutur15 to the squad of a national football team. He was playing as a right defender until today and from this year he is playing as a defensive midfielder while he funnily shares that position is not an issue for him. 22 years–old Nima is from Samtse and his football journey has started from Samtse middle school when coach Ugyen started training all the kids who are interested in football. He played several matches along with his friends to keep his talents alive. It was in 2011 when he went to Gelephu for National football team selection (under 14) and his dream come true. One day he was called by the vice-principal
